Due to technological difficulties, we were only able to catch the last two songs of Wood Brothers. Lucky for us, the first one was a nice “Fixing a Hole” cover. It was keeping with our theme of walking past Beatles covers, with G. Love doing “Why Don’t We Do It in the Road” yesterday.
We got to Antibalas just as they were starting their set. They were pretty much just as I expected. Fun, dance-able and drew a decent crowd. Totally out of the blue, I ran into one of my campers from back in the day. Hilarious. We left Antibalas after a few tunes and headed to Ben Folds.
