~Z.T.~ Andy just called me from a Rush concert. It was one of those “Check out what song they’re playing. I’m gonna hold up the phone,” calls.
Guess what song it was. I’ll give you a clue: Weedoo weedle ee boo, wee wee weebiddle wee. Still not sure? Neither am I, but that’s what it sounded like to me. I’m sitting there thinking, I appreciate that he thought of me and I love the guy to death, but how long am I gonna have to hold this phone up pretending I’m enjoying this noise.
Don’t make these calls. And while you’re at it, don’t take a picture with your phone. “Oh dude, check out this picture I got of blue lights and a wildly out of focus guitar player.” Rad!
He just called back and called it possibly “the best concert he’s ever been to.” Stay tuned.

In my defense, I had no idea that I called you at all during the show. It is very possible that my phone called you whilst I was mid freak out during any number of songs. You were the last person I had called prior to the show starting. -A.S.

i hate cell phones at concerts, don’t talk to your friends in the middle of songs on it, holding it up is plain retarded no one can hear or understand everoyne becomes impatient and annoyed by this, and i hate the fact that the lcd light from a phone has replaced the awesomely cool idea of holding up your lighter in support of a rock band!
