-A.S. Even before Snoop Dogg hit the stage at Rothbury on this 4th of July, the crowd was ready to party. Girls Gone Wild broke out as the screens on both sides of the stage showed girl after girl flashing the entire place. There were so many breasts that the crowd finally began to judge, and would boo if a girl was not up to their standards.
Talk about a stylish entrance.
Snoop hit the stage on a low rider bike and started the show off with “Next Episode,” which had the entire crowd going from the opening riff. As if that wasn’t enough, they brought out a champagne glass to Snoop and company for “Gin and Juice.” Snoop kept the party going with “Deep Cover” and burned one on stage as the whole crowd cheered.
After a few more crowd pleasers, Snoop decided to serenade the ladies with “Sexual Seduction.” Next he introduced a new song he had been working on that consisted of “smoke weed, get drunk and fu**” and had a choreographed dance to go with it. A cover of House of Pain’s “Jump Around” and the mega-hit “Drop It Like It’s Hot” followed.
Snoop Dogg was celebrating the 4th of July in the only way he knows how.
Snoop saw a sign in the crowd for “G’s and Hustlas” and turned around to ask him band if they knew it, as he had to comply to the request. He played that and “Who Am I? (What’s My Name?)” and left the stage as the entire crowd chanted Sha na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, SNOOP DOGG!
