1. Dave Matthews Band: A horns section of Rashawn Ross and Jeff Coffin as well as Tim Reynolds on lead guitar gave Dave’s music a rocking new vehicle for his songs. The fact that Zack also put this as his numero uno says it all.

2. Widespread Panic: Jimmy Herring has really meshed well with the rest of the jam rock powerhouse. “My Grammy Moment” winner Ann Marie Calhoun was a pleasant surprise and really added a lot to the show.

3. Trey Anastasio: Seeing how happy Trey was to be back in front of a crowd made me just as happy. He sounded fantastic and the new songs he played with Mike Gordon were a breath of fresh air. Not to mention “Chalkdust Torture” with the two of them.

4. Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi-Soul Stew Revival: The show started on a perfect note for me with the Band’s “Don’t Do It.” Tedeschi’s voice and Trucks’ guitar sound oh so sweet, and their soulful “Hey Jude” was definitely a highlight.

5. The Black Keys: So much rock from only two guys. “Strange Times” and “I Got Mine” were highlights from the Danger Mouse produced Attack & Release.6. Taj Mahal, 7. John Mayer, 8. Snoop Dogg, 9. The Dynamites, 10. The Wailers.
