~Z.T.~ Set your DVR to VH1 at 9/8 c tonight. If you don’t mind cream in your jeans.

One of the top 3 greatest rock bands of all time (Led and Stones) takes the stage for a two-hour tribute. Filled with interviews and performances, it’s a must see. The Foo Fighters are doing “Bargain,” Incubus has “I Can See For Miles” and Daltrey and Townshend will be tearing it up on “Baba O’ Riley.” Not to mention The Flaming Lips and Tenacious D performances.

I caught a clip of Sandler’s wonderful send-up of “Magic Bus” with new words and I can’t wait. I’m almost as excited for it as I am for the midnight showing of “Dark Knight.”

  1. Matthew Said,

all the performances were pretty sweet. tenacious d was def up there as a favorite, and rain wilson portraying elton john and introducting the flaming lips was oustanding. the song selection throughout the night was pretty cool.

    things that sucked:
    1. sean penn, you are an idiot
    2. the who was prob the least fun of all the performances
    3. why can’t roger and pete just get along already?!
