After Winwood’s awesome set, we headed across the field to catch a little bit of moe. We walked up as they were playing “Crab Eyes.” We grabbed a seat on the hill on the side of the stage and I was reminded of why live moe. isn’t always my favorite.
The bands jams tend to drag on with little direction. Sometimes there’s some great thumping bass and killer guitar solos, but today there was a lot of meh. We stayed to hear “Not Coming Down,” which Al Schnier (pictured above at Summer Camp) said was a good song to play at Mile High.We left to go to Spoon as the band was playing “Okay, Alright.”
