Undercard: Gnarls Barkley vs. Girl Talk
On the under card today we have Gnarls Barkley. The Cee-Lo/Danger Mouse duo who took over Lollapalooza two summers ago with “Crazy” and followed their debut up with a solid album this spring that flirts with being a sophomore slump.
They face off against Girl Talk. A man and his laptop here to make the world dance with his samples. I can not get enough o
f Girl Talk and will be planted there. Thankfully, there’s a 15 minute overlap and the stages are close together.
Decision: If you choose one, I’d make it Girl Talk. If you like dancing.
Main Event: Kanye vs. NIN
I wish someone with more of a draw was on the stage opposite Kanye. I desperately want Kanye to fail miserably. Can we get Daft Punk back? How about a Zeppelin reunion? Well we’ll settle for NIN. A band who should score the Rage crowd and the hardcore scene. If we were at Bonnaroo I think NIN would have a legit shot at competing but not in Chi town. Kanye introduced by Obama will surely dominate, but I can at least hope for some technical difficulties or Kan tripping over his own ego a couple times, can’t I?
Decision: I’m going to start at Kanye for the Obama intro and run to NIN. Well, for now. I may just decide to boycott Kanye. Ahh but I want to boo him so badly. Stay posted.
Note: In a real fight, Gnarls and Cee-Lo would give Girl Talk a sample of getting his ass beat and NIN would fu*k Kanye up like an animal.

Bigger Draw, thats insulting to trent. and there was no obama, you where tricked. you missed out one one hell of a performance by trent. art, technology, and music mixed together to make one of the best performances i’ve ever seen. no one was even a close second. i can’t wait till the highlights are up at attblueroom.com, so you can see what a poor decision you made
