~Z.T.~ I’m pretty proud of our readers. After Wildcard weekend in the NFL, we asked our two finalists for two songs and they gave us two monster songs that could have won it all. Zelin went with Chris Brown’s “Forever,” an artist I’m surprised we forgot about. Hagel countered with Rihanna, who we left off b/c her album came out last year. Luckily for him, “Disturbia” was on the bonus edition which came out in 2008, so it works.

It’s time to cut the brakes and declare a winner. Wildcard, bitches!

~Zelin~ This past year there were many catchy songs, but out of the ones not in the top 16 Chris Brown’s “Forever” is the best one. Not only does “Forever” have a catchy tune and its easy to dance to, but Brown turned the song into a Doublemint gum commercial. Gotta love the cross promotion. Also, the dude has sick dance moves and lets be honest it’s a catchy song, just listen to it!

~Hagel~ News Flash: Newest SAT question to make the test less racially biased is 1)Na na na na Hey Hey is to Goodbye as Bam bam beedum bam bam beedum bam is to Distubria.

While the above is not true, it can be said that Rihanna’s Disturbia is the catchiest song of 2008. When the song comes on in the bar, there’s at least one person screaming Disturbia, if not the entire group. This phenomenon just occurred while I was out in DC. I know in the summer there were other catchy songs, but this one will last the test of time.
