front@ZackTeibloom Welcome to Festival Crashers 2.0. After a year on Blogger, we decided to kick it up a notch and move to WordPress. You’ll barely recognize us thanks to Andy’s breathtaking new banner and an easier to navigate menu, so let me walk you through it.

We went through all 650+ Festival Crasher posts and sorted them into 10 categories, which you’ll see at the top.  Most of them are self-explanatory (contests, festivals, interviews, live blogs, news, reviews and videos) but you may be curious what musings, crashes and features are.

Crashes are details of all the successful show crashes I’ve had thus far from R.E.M at the United Center to Les Savy Fav at a church. I’m hoping to add to that section a lot this week as I attempt to re-create a Platinum badge for SXSW.

Musings are for when Andy or I wax poetic about something music-related, but it doesn’t fit into any of the normal categories. You’ll find stories like my fantasy about the year 2020 when I’ll regret not having gone to Hampton or Andy arguing with me about whether Tony the Tiger would have played guitar or drums if he was a musician.

Features are the cream of the crop. The reviews from our favorite shows with our best original pictures. We’ll be adding at least one or two classic stories a week  story or two a week to this section from classic shows and our upcoming summer full of festivals.

Underneath the main sections, you’ll find our most recent Tweets from Twitter. Beneath that is our video box and a tag cloud which shows keywords we’ve been writing about lately. Click on a floating tag to take you to a story. Popular News is our 10 stories with the most comments and recent news shows the last 10 posts.

Other than that, I think you’ll figure it out as you go. You’re smart people. You found Festival Crashers. Let us know any ideas on how we can improve and we’ll do our best to implement it. You can just comment on this story or feel free to e-mail us at Zack@Festivalcrashers.com and Andy@festivalcrashers.com.

Thanks for your continued support. Rock on.
