I headed out west to Denver, while Zack was getting his indie rock on at Pitchfork. The non-camping, 2-day festival is the perfect destination for the music lover that can’t take much time off from work. See music all day long Saturday and Sunday, and cap it off with a great headliner at the end of each day. Last year it was Dave Matthews Band and Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers sending the music lovers into the night. They’ve put together a solid line up once again this year.

Mile High 2009 will be help July 18-19 and is headlined by Tool, Widespread Panic and the Fray. Other artists set to perform include Incubus, Ben Harper & Relentless7, G. Love & Special Sauce, Gov’t Mule, Buddy Guy, 3OH!3, Ani DiFranco, Paolo Nutini, The Black Keys, John Butler, Gomez, the Wailers, India Arie, the Greyboy Allstars, Railroad Earth, Lyrics Born, Rocco DeLuca & the Burden, Gogol Bordello, Galactic, Guster, Matisyahu, Robert Randolph & the Family Band and many others. Additional artists will also be announced.
