@ZackTeibloom The day a festival schedule is released is usually fraught with future decision making. It’s exciting, but you can’t help look ahead to what shows you’ll have to miss due to overlaps. At Lolla this year you have to choose between Snoop Dogg, Lou Reed, MSTRKFT and Passion Pit all playing at the same time Sunday.
Thankfully, Pitchfork doesn’t have too many drastic ones.
Sure, a lot of the reason for the lack of overlap is the low number of bands that you’ve heard of, but there is The Black Lips/The National conflict and Matt and Kim/Beirut could be a tricky one. Friday night you can see every band perform their sets by request and Mew/Grizzly Bear is the only potential conflict I see on Sunday.
The A, B and C next to each name let you know what stage they’re on.

M83 vs. Vivian Girls pisses me off. Really wanted to catch both those bands. Also, I’m not upset about this, but why isn’t The Flaming Lips playing unopposed?? Who the hell is going to see The Very Best?

Mew vs. Grizzly Bear is pretty disappointing.
