@AndyShore Last year I had a bad experience at Perry’s stage at Lollapalooza and avoided it the rest of the weekend. Slash took the stage with Perry Farrell, but wasn’t properly hooked up. I saw him play, but never heard a note of it. I was pissed to say the least. This year, they moved the location of the stage, and improved it vastly. Now there’s a dance party going at all times during Lollapalooza 2009 on the stage that looks like a space ship. A-Track was just what the early evening crowd needed for blast off.
The rain began to let up, as I had a great time people watching at Perry’s stage. People from all walks of life were getting down just the same as A-Track blended all sorts of synth noises with music to make for one of the more truly unique DJ sounds I have heard in a while. Mixed in with the eclectic choice of tunes was often Daft Punk’s “Stronger,” which makes sense considering A-Track was Kanye West’s DJ all of last summer. Thanks to A-Track for the pick-me-up from the rain and an enjoyable dance party I was more than happy to participate in.
