@ZackTeibloom Consider today selection Thursday. Passion Pit and Phoenix won the play-in spots and Miley, Lady Gaga, Jay-Z and Jamie Foxx got the #1 seeds. We’ve got our 16 finalists bracketed up and ready to go. You have until Tuesday at 2 p.m. central to fill yours out. Don’t forget, the first six people to turn in their brackets get to pick an extra song to go all the way. You could own “Birthday Sex,” or “Right Round” and win a prize, so get them in early!
Here’s how we want you to format your entry. You don’t need to print the bracket out and fax it to us or anything*. Just give us the winner of each round going from top to bottom. If you picked all favorites, your entry would look like this:
Round 1: “Party in the USA”, “Boom Boom Pow.” “Blame It,” “We Made You,” “Empire State of Mind,” “Down,” “Right Round,” “Pokerface”
Round 2: “Party in the USA,” “Blame It,” “Empire State of Mind,” “Pokerface,”
Round 3: “Party in the USA,” “Pokerface”
Winner: “Party in the USA”
E-MAIL brackets to Zack@festivalcrashers.com and Andy@festivalcrashers.com
*Though printing it so you remember who you pick isn’t a bad idea.

If Miley Cyrus doesn’t win this, the whole system is flawed.

I really hate to admit this, but I really like the Miley Cyrus song. So that just might be proof that Party in the USA is the catchiest song of 2009.
