@AndyShore Haiti has left the headlines, but there is still a ton of work to be done there. Harmonies For Haiti reminded us of that, bringing 17 bands together to raise money for the Red Cross. Hosted by Jonas’ Chelsea Staub, the event saw many of Hollywood’s young stars onstage and in attendance. I stood out like a sore thumb, standing a head taller than the hundreds of tweens in attendance. Regardless, I enjoyed most of the music and managed to get some pretty decent shots. I’ve been in LA about five months and I’ve now shot a cast member from the Hills and a Cyrus. Have I dropped n00b status yet?

Nick Braun told the crowd that he wanted to sing a song that had been running through his head for some time, about an ex beau. I was surprised the young crowd sang along to every word of Ricky Martin's "Livin' La Vida Loca" with Braun's eskimo brother, Kyle Kaplan, on acoustic guitar.

Tommy & the High Pilots were a pleasant discovery at Harmonies For Haiti. They may now hold the title for the band that sings my favorite song called "Round N Round." Shhh....don't tell the Kinetix. myspace.com/thehighpilots

Kristy Frank and Jake Johnson of The Record Life blended for tight harmonies on a cover of Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody" to close out Frank's set.

Debate Team were introduced as the most dangerous band in Hollywood. They brought the rock the hardest at Harmonies for Haiti, featuring members of OneRepublic and the Hush Sound.

Alex DeLeon from the Cab surprised the crowd at Harmonies For Haiti when he joined the Summer Set onstage for a verse.

Brandon Wronski, lead singer of Eye Alaska, spent most of their set at the edge of the stage, holding hands with his fans. I was surprised to see a decently-sized string section take the stage with the band.

Most of the performers returned to the stage to close out Harmonies For Haiti with a cover of the Beatles' "I Wanna Hold Your Hand." Julia Lucafo was as sweet and bubly onstage as she was off it. She told me how much she appreciated photography (and booze) when I showed her this shot at the end of the night.
