@AndyShore My grandma called me to tell me that Festival Crashers was featured in her neighborhood newspaper. She read me the review, which is hilarious, and then I totally forgot about it. My mom sent me a copy. After re-reading, I had to post it. I don’t even think I remembered to tell Zack. I’m sure he’ll get as big of a kick out of it as I did. You should too. Some of it sounds like a backhanded compliment to me. At least they’re talking about us.

#2 Festival Crashers (festivalcrashers.com). The temperature dipped to the low 70s, but it did not feel cool, not with hundreds or people pressed should to shoulder. Many stayed put after Lupe Fiasco rocked the AT&T stage, passing the hours with warm beer, inane conversations, and musicless crowd surfing. But as Rage Against the Machine opened their set, two twenty-somethings prepared for arguably the best two-hour frenzy of the summer.

Two years since their first festival season, Chicago-area natives Andy Shore and Zack Teibloom continue their awesomely bad efforts to gain a better vantage point (as their name might suggest) by stealing press credentials or pretending to run a recycling project at Reggae Fest.

Albeit humorous and sometimes idiotic, Shore and Teibloom, who studied journalism at Indiana University, provide music lovers with a comprehensive and up-to-date blog complete with features, interviews, live blogs, and the lowdown on all the festivals (10k Lakes, Bonnaroo, Mile High, Rothbury, SXSW) – all with a Judd Apatow and Larry David-esque flare.

This summer, the duo will be busy in Chicago with the Pitchfork Music Festival (July 16-18; Union Park), Lollapalooza (Aug. 6-8; Grant Park), and the Chicago Jazz Fest (Sept. 4-5; Grant Park).
